Magic Moments between a scientist and his boss

Here is a magic moment experienced by a subordinate from his manager.
One day, a scientist came to his boss and told him, "Sir, I have to take my kids to exhibition going on in our township, so I want to leave office by 5.30pm". His boss promptly replied "Ok, you are permitted to leave early".
The scientist started working as usual and got involved to such an extent, he totally forgot about the commitment given to his children. Suddenly he realized that it was 8.30pm, looked around to see his boss not there. Left home feeling very guilty for having disappointed his kids. He realized the situation is going to be terrible at home, wife and kids would be waiting to pounce on him.

Entering the house, wife greeted him with the usual smile and asked if he would take coffee or dinner directly. Scientist replied "If you would like to have coffee, I can join; what about the kids?". Wife said "Your manager came at 5.15pm and took the kids for exhibition.

Well what really happened was the manager noticing the scientist working seriously around 5.30pm thought to himself, this person would not leave the work in time, so decided to keep up the promise and not disappoint the children. He took the lead in taking them to the exhibition.

The boss doesn't have to do it everytime, but such moments really cherish in the minds of employees. The manager is none other than our ex-President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
